So far, Coim has only produced TPU products in Milan, Europe. However, according to Antonio Piroddi, global marketing director for the Lalipur series of TPU products, the polyurethane manufacturer spent a large amount of investment in the North American market after acquiring the Huntsman company ’s polyurethane plant in West Deptford in March 2005. And, since then, the company has been equipped with advanced production equipment for its business development. Coim's business includes Imuthane series prepolymer products for hot-cast elastomers, Novacete series laminating adhesives for the flexible packaging industry, Diexter series and Isoexter series polyester polyols for flexible and rigid foams, and products in the CASE field. Because Laripur series TPUs are produced in Italy, most of their market share is concentrated in the European region. The company described the West Deptford area as "a unique opportunity" for expanding its production base.

Coim's Laripur series TPU has a hardness coefficient between Shore A60 and Shore D75, and can be used in injection molding, extrusion and gluing processes. A wide range of applications include custom molding, footwear, wire and cable sealing, piping systems, and film production. Piroddi said that Coim ’s R & D and applications division “is actively developing next-generation products to meet the needs of markets and customers.” He also stated that “our complete product portfolio can provide applications and processing needs in different markets.”

The expansion of TPU production in North America consolidated Coim's global market strategy. The company stated that it hopes that after the economic recovery, the investment business in the United States will bring more perfect product portfolios and services to customers.
